My Teaching Journey: Overcoming Challenges and Inspiring Students

In 2018, my career took a significant turn when I joined as an IBA JEST (Junior Elementary School Teacher) in BPS-14. I was eager to start at Qasimabad Higher Secondary School because it had a vibrant environment and a large number of students. Although the school was far from my home, I was excited about the opportunity.

Just as I was about to join Qasimabad, a candidate from the same area approached me with a proposal. He suggested we switch schools because Qasimabad was too far for him. This idea was supported by a senior teacher at my current school, who not only encouraged the switch but also arranged the mutual transfer.

So, I ended up staying at my original school. It felt like a sign that I was needed there, as if fate had other plans for me. From 2021 to 2023, we had a new headmaster who initially seemed promising. Unfortunately, he fell under the influence of some senior staff members who had their own agendas, leading to a decline in the school's environment and educational quality.

In 2023, another new headmaster took charge. With this change, I hoped for a fresh start and positive improvements. However, budget issues persisted, and despite some progress, significant changes were still awaited. The new leadership brought some hope that things might turn around, but there was still a long way to go.

Despite these challenges, my dedication to my students never wavered. I offered support beyond just teaching my subjects. There were always small conflicts and issues among the staff, but my primary focus remained on educating the students and improving the school's quality. The environment wasn't always conducive, but my commitment to my students kept me motivated.

As I stand on the verge of a promotion in a few months, I might move to a new designation and begin a new journey. However, my determination to contribute something meaningful to my students and society remains unchanged. Whether it’s through moral or financial support, my aim is to offer scholarships and not back down from any challenge.

Looking back, I realize that my journey has been filled with challenges and unexpected turns. But each obstacle has only strengthened my resolve to make a difference. I have big plans for the future, and I hope to make a significant impact wherever I go. Together, we can support and uplift our students, providing them with better opportunities and a brighter future. Let's keep pushing forward and never give up.


My journey has taught me that perseverance and dedication can overcome even the toughest challenges. As educators, our mission is to inspire and empower the next generation. With the right mindset and support, we can achieve great things. This is not just my story, but a testament to the resilience and determination of every teacher who strives to make a difference in the lives of their students.

Gradually, I thought about putting in effort with the students so they could advance.
